Upon purchase of the Manantiales property we made a decision to sell our investment home in Jerome, Arizona. Alan Greenspan presided over another financial bubble in USA Inc. In 2006 witnessed all too clearly driving thru West Phoenix. While the cost of capital was rising the levels were nowhere near as prohibitive as Uruguay thus providing a window of opportunity to sell [feed the ducks] on a future potentially illiquid asset & transferring the capital to our second property in El Chorro, Uruguay [Altos Piedras].

Opportunities are everywhere in the world. Humility, clarity & travel with real industry experience helped us conceptualize this project. Sleeping in cars while searching for waves provided many different looks at the Uruguayan coastline from 2002 > 2006.
