Our recent trip to Uruguay helped was instructive to see changes since the last boom & obtain a tenor of the former Res Publica.

Returning to a place where investment capital was deployed - boots on the ground > also helped to question the investment thesis.

Two decades ago numerous Expats were fleeing western financial centers expecting an exodus away from collapsing fiat currencies and equity markets.

2024 displayed few from Plantation 13 / USA Inc. Real estate agents noted a larger group of expats now choosing Pueblo Eden area where the once great base of operations used to be Atlántida.

Riding around on bicycles since coming out of jail in 2016 a new awakening has more readily enabled the author see the world in natural conditions. One could assume this situation was inescapable yet the truth is a conscious choice to ensure allocation of capital was possible for growth.

Either the outlook of the author has changed or recognizing how fragile & fractured our society has become. The appearance of much of the public signing away their active lives, Isco Facto, for metal coffins & high paid screen watcher careers in Southern California has revealed an even more polarized world.

Not the arbiter of the truth nor an expert amongst all things.
