Cant Get There from Here

‘Don’t fight forces, Use them.’ - R. Buckminster Fuller

‘There is no better than adversity. Every defeat, every heartbreak, every loss, contains its own seed, its own lesson on how to improve your performance next time.’ - Malcom X

‘Surfing and Martial Arts are really similar. It’s not just a recreation, a sport or a hobby. If you’re into it, its a way of living, a lifestyle. You live it, you don’t just do it.’ - Mark Foo

Where is your Shangri-La?

What do you want to do with your life?

What is your Philosophical Core?

We believe anyone can have more than one life. Passion is critical as well as the gift of gratitude & positive thinking.

As a young boy there instinctive desire for the ocean / surf and design were clear. Finding a way to live a principled life with accretive businesses in these endeavors has been constructive.

Traveling much of the world far from what’s comfortable has been an incredible education. In the financial services industry it was never so clear speaking with analysts who share the same subsets of data or perceptions upon frontier markets without every stepping a foot outside the ivory towers of major western cities. Perhaps the allure of swashbuckling explorers taking risks to ride the ultimate away from the crowds is multifaceted regarding personal freedom, a healthy rush and spiritual achievement. The Goal of this blog is not to provide the fall and rise life in eloquent detail. My awakening came from being potential Cannon Fodder on a specific day in New York City. Hindsight was the gift the executioners provided in allowing me and fellow colleges to live before unleashing the greatest insurance demolition in history. Our objective is Shameless Promotion and also the potential of a roadmap to help others achieve personal and financial freedom.

“Families are always rising and falling in America.” - Nathaniel Hawthorne

It was clear in my mind the wild coast away from the masses seeking new lands was the way to go. If you are young there is still no better education and research than a ‘boots on the ground’ perspective. If you are older there are unique places like time capsules awaiting your courage to leave the comforts and dare I say entitlements of the western ‘first’ world nations. Times are changing
