Most of the human body is made up of water is in the intracellular fluid (up to 2/3 of the human body's water) with a composition near 60% (higher percentages in infants and lean adults varying according to gender and fitness level). Should one detach themselves into the wild it becomes evident thirst is a constant factor and hydration levels are paramount to peak performance.
In addition to physical health it helps to seek an improved understanding of the economic system around us to chart a proper course - Ride the Ultimate. The external environment is continually ebbing and flowing so keeping our body & mind healthy to maximize efficiency and spend quality time doing what we love is a major goal. We agree with Thomas Jefferson in matters of principal to 'stand like a rock' but not on his thoughts on style to 'swim with the current.'
Before we go on a feral surf trip we may transact business to earn capital in the form of a currency. In the United States the Statue of Liberty is placed upon an island surrounded by a body of water in a specific location thus as good sailors we must request 'liberty' from the captain (future post comparing freedom). Capital may be held in many forms and it may behoove one to better conceptualize ways to create, store and transfer liquid assets in the form of available funds.
A 'current' is said to flow to the 'sea' directed by 'banks' of a river. The currency we use for transactions is not a store of value in the long run due to 'dilution.' Excessive new 'liquidity' or currency added to the system may create storms and as surfers our job is to use these disturbances in the system to our advantage. The storms in the economic system were not created by us 'small fish' but a good pilot is compelled to understand his errors so that one can further apply lessons learned when riding future storms.
